"My first Reiki session with Carol Dawson of SOULSISTERS Healing Centre: The very moment I entered the Sakura Healing Center I sensed an atmosphere of peace and harmony. With respect to the Reiki session it was good that Carol did not talk about the treatment in great detail before she got started. This way I felt is easier for me to keep an un-occupied mind and to be receptive to any new experience. During the actual treatment/energy work I had my eyes closed. Carol worked “head to toe” concentrating on different parts of my body. With my “inner eye”  -  every time she changed to a different area  -  I visualized certain colors. Releasing Childhood Trauma  

“Carol, I am still in awe! I just had to write and express to you again how blown away I was by today's treatment.  It's always so amazing to me how well the crystals and Reiki help me.  I remember just before you put the crystals on, I was so completely relaxed and was asking my ‘self’ what was deep inside of me that I was trying to avoid.  I had such a strong urge to ask you to use the crystals, especially for my throat.   And then, shortly after my desire to have you use the crystals came to me, you got up and started the crystal work. As soon as you put that one on my throat, I could feel it pulsating - and I know it wasn't imagined, I truly felt it.  I was still quite relaxed while you worked on the lower chakras, however, as soon as you came up to the heart one, I could feel such an intense reaction - I could feel very strong heat, a real pull and then out of nowhere comes the memory of the traumas with my dad and all the releasing - it's something that I tried to release years ago in therapy during hypnosis, however, my body had started to spasm and I couldn't work through the trauma feelings.  My therapist said it was my body protecting my mind which wasn't ready to deal with the trauma,  so I've carried it all these years, scared to go back to the child I was and the fear I lived with because of all the things my dad did; whether to one of my siblings, or all of us.  But the one incident that affected me the most and as a result intensified my panic attacks was the one that came up in our session today.  Whenever I would start to hold back on the releasing during the treatment, the crystal would seem to pull even harder and I knew I just had to let it come out.

What is most profound is how safe I felt about letting it all come up to be released, even though I experienced such a physical reaction to it - I wasn't scared of it - I sensed it was what needed to be released - the most significant event of my life that has held me back and has kept me insecure and anxious.   I also remember worrying that maybe the intensity of what I was releasing would be too much for you and that you might be scared of what was happening to me - but that passed quickly after you asked if I wanted the trauma to be released and I consented, it was so incredible.  I was in awe of the feelings of my heart just opening up and everything being pulled from it; just as you described.  It really did happen that way and all I could feel was the wonderment at the sensation of releasing the trauma.  I love hearing about what you are experiencing during the same time; it's always so different from my level; but serves the very same purpose. Does that make sense?

I realize I'm saying a lot, however, I want to share just how amazed and grateful I am for your assistance in my healing.  I remember the first time I saw you and you thought you knew me and I had felt you looked familiar too. - Maybe that was more divine intervention at work - the universe brought me to you because it knew I was ready to be healed and that you were the best facilitator of healing for me at this time.  I hope that doesn't sound too corny!So once again, I thank you for the amazing treatment and want you to know that I really do feel the changes happening to me.”

Healing Emotional Trauma

”I’m so thankful that I can provide you with a testimonial as to how my treatments have made such a profound difference in my life. I don`t know if my words will ever be able to do enough justice to the magnitude of gratitude I have for the emotional healing that I have been accomplishing through Jikiden Reiki combined with the energy from the crystals we use during part of my treatment. Resolving Marital Problems that affected Throat Chakra (speaking your truth)

“I have to tell you what happened after my appointment on Saturday.  I knew when I left your office that we had hit on something very big for me with realizing that we still needed to do more clearing on my throat. But when I got home, I felt good although I had a couple of strong coughing spells. Anyway I went out for coffee with a good friend on Saturday night and I found myself quite negative about my life and it was bothering me that I couldn’t seem to snap out of this. So on Sunday I had a quiet day, planted flowers and did some yard work.  Well Sunday afternoon, my husband comes home from his golf trip and he comes in the house and sits down beside me on the couch and tells me all about his weekend.  He even asked me about my weekend!  We even went on a long walk and he chatted the whole time.  This is unbelievable!! It was very nice because he hardly ever interacts like that.  He usually disappears into the basement to watch TV.  Today I am finding that I am coughing once in a while and when I cough I always bring up phlegm.  Anyway I will be booking an apt again soon. Hi Carol, Thanks so much for the photos....I didn't even realize you were taking pictures of us while we were working on each other.  :)  I really enjoyed the class as well; such a great group to be with, I feel really blessed to have been able to share with such wonderfully gifted people and we all were blessed to have had you as our instructor!! I have to tell you my experience after I left on Sunday. I went back to the house and my daughter was just getting ready to go for a run. As it turned out she ran 15 km that day and of course, no surprise, after dinner she had gotten out the A5-35 to rub on her knee. So I suggested a theta healing instead of the stinky stuff and worked on her knee. The next day she called me after work to say she wanted me to work on her other knee because it had bothered her all day, but the one I had worked on (the one that was in pain the evening before) felt great. I said you better not be patronizing me and she said  no honestly it felt better. Yeah! I am going to register for the Advanced class. Thanks again Carol. Needing Guidance

Difficulty at Work & Blood Pressure

“Carol, thank-you again for helping me out. What a world of difference I have noticed! Before I carry on, I am curious whether other people are as sensitive or receptive to ThetaHealing as I am? I am so amazed. What makes it so immediate for me? I certainly noticed a TOTALLY different attitude Monday morning on my way to work. I was back to the new improved modified original me. No more Road Rage! I am happy. Still some minor difficulty with people listening or understanding - and maybe that is more their problem, rather than my problem, but attitudes have changed - both about myself and others about me (my perception is my reality). I even applied for a major director position here for another mat leave. Here is the kicker - the blood pressure (which always goes sky high when a doctor or nurse takes it…even though it’s always fine when I take it myself) – after our Theta session I had the nurse do it and the readings started at 120/70 and kept going down to 110/70. I have my insurance paper completed by the nurse here and sent off. I am so happy! Had a very stressful week so far and it was not stressful (you know what I mean). It feels really good. Had a really tough and pushy director to work with and I managed to keep myself and her in check and it was actually a lot of fun with my new found me. Chronic Pain in Arm

”Last winter I had reoccurring chronic pain down my right arm. I had happened to read about the SoulSisters on a particular Friday last winter in the WHOLifE Journal and it coincided at a time when the pain had gotten so bad I could not even hold a pen in my right hand. I felt I had 2 choices, go to the medi-clinic for muscle relaxers or see the soulsisters as their story certainly intrigued me. All I knew was I wanted to be better for work Monday morning. I was able to see Carol & Gloria that Saturday for a 1 1/2 hour of quantum healing. I must say, it is true- I woke up the next day totally functional, the pain in my hand was completely gone. I felt tremendous release during the session & could not believe how good I felt the next day. It did have a lasting effect, although I still had some issues with that arm it was never as bad as what I experienced before I had that treatment.
